"The Good Samaritan" was made by Alexandre-Gabriel Decamps in 1842. The more than 170 years old original was painted with the following size Framed: 54 x 71 x 10 cm (21 1/4 x 27 15/16 x 3 15/16 in); Unframed: 28,8 x 46 cm (11 5/16 x 18 1/8 in) and was made with olja på tyg.
